LITTLE FALLS YOUTH HOCKEY ASSOCIATION 2022-2023 VOLUNTEER & FUNDRAISING POLICY

LFYHA is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on volunteers. We are solely operated by volunteers, therefore the profits from the concession stand and home tournaments directly fund our hockey program. We greatly appreciate the many hours contributed by our hockey families during the season. To make volunteer work more equitable for the entire association, the board has established a volunteer policy. This includes families working MANDATORY hours in DIBS and Home Tournaments/Games.

A volunteer deposit of $450 PER FAMILY is required and must be submitted during online registration. NO PLAYER will be allowed on the ice until this is on file with the association. If your family completes the volunteer requirements, your deposit will be cancelled electronically at the end of the season.  Families with incomplete hours will have their volunteer deposit withdrawn on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

LFYHA implemented an online volunteer system in 2015 called DIBS. The hours have been configured with the best of our ability.  You can use DIBS to view available shifts, sign up (“claim”) and keep track of volunteer shifts. You must be registered for the current season to access the DIBS Volunteer system. More information on DIBS is available on the LFYHA website
